Welcome to PilotSync! This guide will help you set up your account and start managing your aircraft maintenance efficiently.

Step 1: Create Your Account
Registration Process
- Visit the registration page
- Enter your full name, email address, and create a secure password (minimum 6 characters)
- Select your primary role:
- User - Aircraft owner, pilot, or operator
- Mechanic - Aviation maintenance professional
- Click "Create Account" to complete registration
Important Note
Your role determines your default permissions. You can always be invited to different roles on specific aircraft or fleets later.
Step 2: Add Your First Aircraft
Aircraft Registration
- Navigate to your dashboard after logging in
- Click the "Add Aircraft" button or go to the Aircraft section
- Fill in the required aircraft information:
- Registration - Aircraft tail number (e.g., N12345)
- Make & Model - Aircraft manufacturer and model
- Year - Year of manufacture
- Serial Number - Aircraft serial number
- Total Time - Current Hobbs meter reading
- Add optional details like engine information, category, and notes
- Upload an aircraft photo (optional but recommended)
- Click "Create Aircraft" to save
Pro Tip
Ensure your aircraft total time is accurate - this is used for all maintenance scheduling and compliance tracking.
Step 3: Understanding Your Dashboard
Overview Cards
Your dashboard shows key metrics at a glance:
- • Total aircraft in your account
- • Active maintenance tasks
- • Open squawks (issues)
- • Upcoming inspections
Recent Activity
Stay updated with:
- • Recent check-ins across your aircraft
- • Maintenance task updates
- • New squawks reported
- • Compliance status changes
